About the Role

FiSearch has been engaged by a Private Equity backed global leader in their field. This role will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of the Financial Services arm of this business with a view for rapid growth, both through acquisition and organically.

This is an opportunity for a CFO with strong financial services background to build a new financial services business within a larger corporation, which would be capable of running as a standalone business in the future. This role will sit on the board of directors.

This role would involve c.20-25% travel across the EU in the first 6 months to build key relationships. There will be an element of travel beyond that also.

The home office is in central Amsterdam and there is a flexible working arrangement but during the first 6 months a large office presence will be required.

The CFO will be responsible for:

Leadership of the finance function (2 direct reports)
Building strong stakeholder relationships across C-Suite, VP and MD levels.
Regulatory & Financial Reporting
Strategic planning & executing
Acquisition & Investment Advisory
Deep dive investigatory cost accounting.
Consolidation of entities across the EU.
