About the Role
FiSearch is working with a scaling financial services company who are seeking to appoint a Head of Finance. As a start up business, they are going through a period of high growth which includes expansion of a small finance team as well as expanding their business into new markets.
Our client is seeking a proactive and ambitious finance professional who is looking for a broad and varied role. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will have full oversight of all things Controllership.
The ideal candidate will be motivated by the prospect to drive the internal controls and accounting procedures in a rapidly expanding environment. Through the natural growth of the business, this candidate must be happy to manage junior members of the finance team.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for:
- Regular reporting, analysis and control activities
- Reporting structures and improving budget and forecasting processes
- Drive efficiencies in automation processes
- Deeper data analysis in various areas of the business
- Prepare and review income tax, VAT and corporate tax statements
- Liaison with various department leads
- Communicate to leadership on business performance
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Masters in Finance (or equivalent)
- 3-5 years financial controller experience
- Strong experience in Big 4 accounting
- High competencies with various accounting software (experience with Exact is desirable)
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
- High ability to work to strict deadlines and through company processes
- Excellent attention to detail with high proficiency in excel
- Highly effective collaboration and communication skills

Salary: €100k+ base plus bonus
