Finance Manager
About the Role
FiSearch is partnering with a VC backed sustainable health and wellness start-up to help appoint a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
The role necessitates an individual who excels in a fast-moving and ever-changing work setting, and who can actively participate in enhancing the reporting capabilities and control framework to establish a strong basis for expansion. Ideally you will have an understanding of how a start-up style business operates. This offers a chance to gain extensive and diverse experience within a fast growth start-up business.
With the business being less than 2 years old and already proving to be a distributor in their industry, receiving many awards and features in well known publishers. This is a great time to join.
Key deliverables
- Management of 3rd party bookkeeping team, ensuring accounting + ERP systems are maintained efficiently and accurately
- Cashflow reporting and management
- Analysis of business performance across all key functions Input into business
- forecasting
- Ownership of month-end reporting
- Preparation of investor reporting
- Preparation of departmental budgets for monthly feedback sessions
- Preparation of P&Ls split by channel and territory
Requirements
- 1 year PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Start-up style business exposure/experience
- Experience using Xero (Not essential)
- An understanding of, and interest in, key DTC + Retail KPIs
- Excel proficiency
- Strong communication skills, able to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- An open mindset, able to overcome operational challenges at speed ability to take ownership of challenges and processes
- Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills
