About the Role
FiSearch are working with a dynamic company in the SAAS industry who are seeking a GL Accountant to support their thriving development. As a multinational service provider based out of Amsterdam and working with clients across the EMEA region, it is imperative that the GL Accountant is competent in both Dutch and English to a professional standard.
Our client is seeking a conscientious and ambitious finance professional who is looking to take their next step in their career. Reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, the role will partner with department leads to provide significant insights for wider business operations.
You will be responsible for liaising with a large number of clients, ensuring all systems and processes are operating efficiently. This will include communicating with clients on a multinational basis, processing invoices and managing customer operations.
The GL Accountant will be responsible for:
- Periodic closing (monthly, quarterly and annual)
- Reporting structures to improve budget and forecasting processes
- Deeper financial analysis in various areas of the business
- Liaison with various department leads, i.e. Sales and Marketing teams
- Communicate to leadership on business performance

Requirements
- Degree and/or Masters in Finance (or equivalent)
- 2-3 years experience within a finance department or similar role
- Experience with Dutch GAAP and IFRS
- Exact experience preferred but not essential
- High ability to work to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail with high proficiency in excel
- Experience of working across departments/divisions
- Highly effective collaboration and communication skills – Dutch fluency in speaking and writing is required
