About the Role

This is a truly unique opportunity to join an early stage startup at the ground floor. FiSearch are partnering with a SAAS client which has just completed their Series A and are backed by some of the world’s top angel investors.

Reporting to an impressive COO/CFO with a track record of joining early stage startups and making them successful, this role will have a clear progression plan to CFO as they scale and approach Series B and beyond.

For the next phase of their growth, they are opening operations in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar).

This growth requires an ambitious, up and coming Head of Strategy and Finance to be the right hand person of the CFO/COO.

The person will be responsible for ultimately giving visibility of the financial health and future strategic direction of the business to the C-suite, Board & VC investors. This role will have a huge amount of exposure to top level stakeholders and is a rare opportunity to join an early stage startup, about to enter a phase of hyper growth.

Doha has been identified as an up and coming tech hub, is income tax free and from a social perspective has a thriving ex-pat community, just one hour from Dubai.

Accountabilities

● Producing and presenting management information and board packs to the CFO/COO/CEO

● Creating and presenting SAAS pricing scenarios

● Creating and presenting go-to-market analysis and recommendations

● Managing relationships with local outsourced accountants and review of month end accounts

● Financial modelling (building models from scratch).

● Partnering with CFO/COO/CEO on value add, strategic projects.
