About the Role
FiSearch are working with a long established industry leader to appoint a Senior Finance Officer, working within the services industry.
Our client is seeking a proactive and ambitious finance professional who is looking for a broad and varied role. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Control as well as the CFO, the role will partner with department leads to provide significant insights for wider business operations.
You will join a dynamic team of people within the Control and Reporting department, where you will enjoy a balance of regular analytical reporting along with a breadth of project based working.
The Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for:
- Regular reporting, analysis and control activities
- Reporting structures and improving budget and forecasting processes
- Deeper data analysis in various areas of the business
- Various finance projects working closely with management team
- Liaison with various department leads
- Communicate to leadership on business performance
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Masters in Finance (or equivalent)
- 3-5 years financial analytics experience
- PowerBI experience preferred
- Flexible approach being happy to broaden work through ad hoc projects
- High ability to work to strict deadlines and through company processes
- Excellent attention to detail with high proficiency in excel
- Experience of working across departments/divisions
- Highly effective collaboration and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
