Senior Group Financial Accountant
About the Role
FiSearch is exclusively partnering with an AIM-listed tech business to appoint a Senior Group Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.
The role necessitates an individual who excels in a fast-moving and ever-changing work setting, and who can actively participate in enhancing the reporting capabilities and control framework to establish a strong basis for expansion. This offers a chance to gain extensive and diverse experience within a publicly traded international Group.
Key deliverables
- Creating Group consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Providing assistance in preparing the subsidiaries’ statutory accounts, collaborating with local finance teams when necessary, and addressing any necessary adjustments from local GAAP to IFRS.
- Compiling the Group’s consolidated management report in FX, which covers multiple currency subsidiaries and subsidiary groups (reporting in USD, GBP, and Euro). The report includes Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and
- Cashflow, presented in Board format, adhering to the monthly reporting schedule.
- Evaluating the accounting and reporting of the Company, subsidiaries, and consolidated data, involving analytical reviews.
Requirements
- 3 years PQE
- Previous exposure to a well-established and mature control environment and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Possessing strong technical expertise, including the capability to research and effectively communicate accounting issues, while also suggesting appropriate treatments based on IFRS requirements. This proficiency is particularly valuable concerning the capitalisation of intangible assets under IAS 38, conducting impairment reviews, and adhering to IFRS 15 – Revenue guidelines.
